SUGME is a not-for-profit organization and is incorporated in the State of Maine. It was founded in December, 1999.

Dues are $30 annually and our membership year goes from January 1^st through December 31st. SUGME membership is open to the general public. Membership fees are waived for any member who participates in a meeting in the form of a poster session, round-table leadership position, topic presentation, or other SAS-related learning activity of a substantial nature.
